Super Double Dragon is a 2D beat 'em up video game developed and published by Tiger Electronics under license of American Technos and Tradewest, released as a dedicated LCD handheld console in 1993. It is a simplified version of Super Double Dragon.
Gameplay[]
The player takes control of Billy Lee in his quest to rescue his girlfriend, Marian, from the hands of the Shadow Warriors gang. Available commands include punching, kicking left and right, jumping, crouching, and performing a "special technique". However, the availability to perform some of these actions strictly depends on where the player is currently positioned. For example, while on the central spot, the player character can punch right and left but can only kick right; while jumping, they can both punch and kick right and left; while on the frontal spot, the only moves available to the player are kicking left and crouching to pick up items. When the player is in the middle of a jump, they can move right to land on the frontal spot.
Enemies mainly consist of Williamses and Ropers, who will constantly enter the screen from the front and the rearward, and the player has to use their available martial arts moves to dispatch them. After defeating a determined number of enemies, the player advances to the next section with increased difficulty.
